Final Fantasy Developers Contemplate Extensive Remake Series Beyond Trilogy Format
Game director Naoki Yoshida has indicated that future remakes of classic Final Fantasy titles like FFXIV, FFXVI, and FFXVII would likely require four or even five installments due to their immense scope, extending beyond the current trilogy model seen with Final Fantasy VII Remake. This presents a significant challenge for Square Enix in terms of development time and resources.
