The official calendar for Paris Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2027 women's ready-to-wear collections has been announced, promising a week of innovation and style. Scheduled from September 28 to October 6, this season will host 68 runway shows and 33 presentations, marking a slight adjustment from the 74 shows and 37 presentations of the historic SS26 season.

This upcoming fashion spectacle is particularly anticipated for its designer debuts and notable returns. Drew Henry will present his inaugural collection as the artistic director for Courrèges on September 30, while Kai Nesselrath will unveil his first designs for Carven on October 1. Several prominent houses are also making their comeback to the Parisian schedule, including Valentino, which previously showcased its Fall 2026 collection in Rome, and Maison Margiela, which held its last presentation in Shanghai. Other returning names include Sacai, Ester Manas, Christopher Esber, and Casablanca. The calendar also features a strong lineup of established luxury brands such as Dior, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Tom Ford, Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga, Loewe, Celine, Miu Miu, and Louis Vuitton. Additionally, Alaïa will host a presentation on October 3, with the collection designed by its studio as the brand seeks a new creative director following Pieter Mulier's departure. A significant new addition to the official show schedule is Maxhosa Africa, the acclaimed South African label founded by Laduma Ngxokolo, whose designs have garnered international recognition.

While many are returning, some notable brands will be absent from this season's Paris Fashion Week. McQueen will instead present its new vision under Seán McGirr and CEO Gianfranco D’Attis at London Fashion Week. Rabanne is also taking a break, as its new creative director, Olivier Rousteing, is set to debut his collection in March. Other brands opting out this season include Nina Ricci, following the departure of its creative director Harris Reed, and Off-White. Newcomers to the presentation schedule include Parisian designer Alexandra Golovanoff, known for her cashmere line and expanding wardrobe collection, and Fidan Novruzova, a Central Saint Martins graduate and LVMH Prize semi-finalist known for her unique Azerbaijani and Moldovan influences.

This season of Paris Fashion Week continues to be a pivotal event in the global fashion landscape, showcasing both established design powerhouses and emerging talents. The diverse range of designers and presentations reflects the dynamic evolution of contemporary fashion, offering fresh perspectives and setting future trends, while emphasizing creativity and artistic expression.
