The construction of T1's G2_Austin solar cell fabrication facility, initiated in December 2025, is projected to commence its initial production phase during the first quarter of 2027, with an annual capacity of 2.1 gigawatts. T1 Energy expects to deliver solar modules containing over 60% domestic content starting in 2027.

Barcelo stated that the demand from customers, such as Clearway, for high-domestic-content modules is crucial in fostering a robust 'Made in America' supply chain.
