Anne Hathaway, while promoting her latest film 'Verity,' has confirmed her pregnancy and, acting on medical advice, will not be participating in the 'Hot Ones' interview series. The intense heat of the wings on the show presents a risk of premature labor, leading her doctor to recommend she abstain from the challenge. Despite having filmed a portion of the show in character for 'Verity,' she looks forward to tackling the full gauntlet at a later date, once her pregnancy concludes.

Hathaway's current pregnancy has seen her navigate a demanding promotional schedule for 'Verity' and four other projects this year. She has made numerous public appearances globally, all while expecting her third child with Adam Shulman. The actress intends to take a well-deserved break after 'Verity' premieres, planning a brief hiatus before resuming work on an upcoming film in early 2027.

This period of rest is a well-earned pause for Hathaway, as she prepares for the arrival of her new child. Her commitment to both her career and her family highlights a balanced approach to her professional and personal life. Following her temporary retreat from the public eye, fans can anticipate her return to the screen, embodying resilience and dedication.
