Delving into the mysteries of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, players are tasked with discovering audio logs that reveal deeper layers of the game's ongoing narrative. These crucial in-game items, periodically introduced throughout the season, serve as narrative breadcrumbs, enriching the lore for those willing to explore. While some logs are helpfully marked on the map, others require a more keen eye, challenging players to thoroughly scour the landscape. This guide aims to simplify that quest, providing exact coordinates and descriptions for every audio log, ensuring no piece of the story remains untold.

Initially, players were introduced to a set of three audio logs, released on August 20th. These initial recordings were strategically placed across diverse terrains, from hidden caves to towering snow-capped peaks and grassy rock formations. Subsequent updates brought a second wave of logs on September 3rd, expanding the search to include areas around bustling harbors and secluded barns. Each discovery contributes to a broader understanding of the season's evolving plot, making the hunt for these logs an integral part of the Fortnite experience.

Initial Audio Log Discovery Points

The first set of audio logs, introduced on August 20th, challenged players to navigate varied landscapes to uncover the initial narrative fragments. These logs were strategically hidden to encourage thorough exploration, adding an adventurous layer to the quest for lore. Locating them required careful attention to the environment and a bit of orienteering, rewarding players with crucial story insights.

The first log was secreted away within a cave, identifiable by its proximity to an override console near Latte Landing, requiring players to locate a specific opening west of a prominent cable or utilize a zipline from nearby roads. The second log was perched atop a snow-covered mountain north of Reality's Reign, nestled beside a tree amidst ice formations, demanding a climb to its icy perch. Finally, the third log lay partially concealed within the dense grass atop a significant rock formation in the northeast section of Green Hill Zone, necessitating a sharp eye for the tell-tale diamond exclamation point icon to confirm its presence.

Subsequent Audio Log Discoveries

The second wave of audio logs, deployed on September 3rd, further expanded the narrative hunt, leading players to new, distinctive locations across the map. These additions continued the quest of unveiling more of the season's story, pushing players to venture into previously unexplored or less-frequented zones. The ongoing release of these logs ensures that the narrative remains dynamic and engaging, prompting continuous player interaction with the game's world.

The initial log from this series was situated just north of the Sandy Buttes Hotel, a central structure within Heatwave Harbor. Players needed to breach a tall hedge fence to uncover this audio piece adjacent to the building. The second log was positioned to the west of a distinctive red barn, centrally located between Stone Sanctum, Green Hill Zone, and Heatwave Harbor. This particular log was found beside a large tree outside the barn, easily accessible by following the road extending northwest from Heatwave Harbor, guiding players directly to its hidden spot.
